Rap-A-Lot Records

This week sees Supreme drop a collaboration with Rap-A-Lot Records, the really surprising thing about this is that its the first time I recall a clothing brand doing a capsule with the legendary Houston record label.

Rap-A-Lot Records was founded by James Prince in the mid 1980's and with artists such as The Geto Boys in their arsenal they soon put the South on the map. Later opening doors and laying the groundwork for the south to dominate the Hip Hop landscape for many years. Game changing is a phrase often misused, but on this occasion it's completely valid.

Here we pick seven (was supposed to be just five, impossible) of our favourite releases from the labels prolific back catalogue. Click on the album pictures for further info, also feel free to comment underneath with your favourite Rap-A-Lot releases.
